In 2000, the RhB procured for their showpiece, the Bernina Express, three first-class and seven second-class panorama cars with Stadler Altenrhein.
These cars have since been used primarily in the Bernina Express and Heidi Express, during mid-winter and emerge in the car on regular main line trains on the Albula.
