Bernina Express (2002)
In the year 2000, RhB purchased three first class and seven second class Panoramic coaches from Stadler in Altenrhein.
These very comfortable coaches are since used for both the Berninaexpress and the Heidi Express. In the low and winter season, they can also be found in regular fast trains on the Albula line

Albula fast train (1978)
The engines of class Ge 4/4 II were introduced in 1973, and thanks to their high performance of 1700 kW and their reliability, quickly became the universal locomotive for the main RhB network, used for passenger and freight trains alike. They had the then usual green livery with chrome letters and numbers and were named after villages along the RhB line.
The coaches of type EW I were also green and showed the then new RhB logo in yellow.
We are following such a fast train headed by Ge 4/4 II 619 “Samedan”. Some visitors might remember this green epoch with a little nostalgia.
Supplemental train (1973)
During high season, RhB uses supplemental trains to cover transportation needs.
Here we see such a train from 1973 with engine Ge 4/4 602 “Bernina”. Typically these trains use a wide mix of rolling stock that is available at the time.
Ge 4/4 III 651 “Fideris”
Once again a nice livery on a Ge 4/4 III.
No. 651 “Fideris” with the advertisement for the 75 year Glacier Express jubilee, and a very nice model from BEMO as well.
