Adventures in Bergün
Die Station Bergün oder romanisch Bravuogn liegt bei km 73.1 an der bekannten Albulalinie der Rhätischen Bahn auf einer Höhe von 1376 m.
Bergün ist Schnellzugshalt für so berühmte Züge wie “Glacier Express” und “Bernina Express”. Als Sommer- und Winterkurort mit dem bahnhistorischen Lehrpfad sowie als Endpunkt der Schlittelbahn von Preda nach Bergün weist der Ort das ganze Jahr durch einen beachtlichen Personenverkehr auf. Der Güterverkehr ist bescheidener. Vor allem Holz aus den umliegenden Wäldern, Viehtransporte und Baumaterialien werden hier umgeschlagen.
Die Bilder stellen den Betrieb auf der Station Bergün an einem gewöhnlichen Werktag im Jahre 1985 dar, nachmittags zwischen 15 und 17 Uhr.

Railway Station Party Bergün September 2, 2001
The Albula Bahn Club organised the traditional railway station party in Bergün on September 2, 2001.
You can enjoy local folk music, delicious food and cool drinks. The Rhaetian railway RhB is present with old time rolling stock which head special trains for the public.
Lower Berninariver bridge
At km 18.5 of the Berninabahn south of Lagalb Staion we find the first of several steel bridges crossing the Bernina river. This one was built in 1934 when the track was relocated due to risk of avalanches.

Here you can have a look at how the landscape of the Albulabahn in H0m is built.
Albula line km 74.3
At km 74.3 of the Albula line south of Bergün station, we find a small stone bridge over a hiker trail and a tensioning device of the contact lines. The feeder lines with 11 kV and 66 kV are taken away from the catenary masts and lead along the woods to the upper level on seperate masts.
These details which are seldom found on a model railroad merit a representation on this module.

Solis Station
The station of Solis is situated in the gorge of Schin between Thusis und Tiefencastel just short of the Solis viaduct. It is used as an automatic crossing station and has become world famous for its fantastic flowers which adorn the wooden building from spring to autumn.
